Public Policy

Connected Nation works on the ground every day with local communities in an effort to expand broadband access and adoption. In its broadband advocacy work, Connected Nation develops recommendations for public policy to represent the grassroots interests of these local communities.

Connected Nation works directly in the trenches with a variety of stakeholders in the broadband policy debate--state and local governments, consumers, economic development organizations, technology providers, local health clinics, libraries and labor organizations and schools--to name a few.

Currently, Connected Nation has been working with states to develop recommendations for broadband expansion and adoption. This recommendations/planning reports lay out a clear path for states as they work with local communities to help expand the use of broadband by residents, businesses, schools and governments.
