Tom Ferree

As Chief Operating Officer, Tom provides vision and leadership for all technical aspects of Connected Nation operations and communications. He provides leadership and governance for the management of strategic programs and state operations to ensure success for Connected Nation engagements regarding technology development and implementation.

Tom joins Connected Nation after serving as Chief of Staff for Kentucky's Finance and Administration Cabinet. While there, Tom was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the cabinet and represented the cabinet on numerous commissions. Tom also served as the Deputy State CIO for Kentucky where he helped charter the Commonwealth’s first Enterprise Project Management Office. Prior to his time in the public sector, Tom worked as a project manager for ten years in the healthcare industry. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a graduate of Centre College with a degree in economics.
